Özyeğin University Establishes a Collaborative Artificial Intelligence Platform

In a significant stride towards advancing the integration of artificial intelligence across various sectors, Özyeğin University has unveiled a groundbreaking platform designed to foster collaboration among the public sector, private enterprises, and academic institutions. This innovative initiative aims to create a neutral and dynamic environment where stakeholders can exchange ideas, share knowledge, and develop cutting-edge AI applications.

The Özyeğin University Artificial Intelligence Platform will serve as a hub for discussions on the multifaceted impacts of AI in industries such as finance, retail, manufacturing, information technology, and media. It is committed to nurturing the development of new AI-driven solutions and facilitating ongoing dialogue through regular meetings, workshops, and an annual forum dedicated to the latest trends and innovations in artificial intelligence.

The platform boasts a diverse network of academic partners, including renowned institutions such as Koç University, Sabancı University, and the Berkeley Haas Institute for Business Innovation. Furthermore, more than 20 leading companies have joined the initiative, including Anadolu Group, Credit Europe Bank, FİBA, Hepsiburada, İş Bankası, KoçDigital, Lenovo, Mavi, Migros, Pegasus, QNB, TAV, Trendyol, and Yıldız Holding. This broad participation underscores the platform’s commitment to fostering a holistic ecosystem for AI advancement.

Addressing critical themes such as the influence of AI on business models, data security, ethical considerations, and regulatory frameworks, the platform aims to bridge the gap between theoretical research and practical implementation. It will promote joint projects, facilitate knowledge exchange, host expert panels, and support targeted research initiatives, thereby accelerating innovation in artificial intelligence within Turkey.
